The poetry within this work moves between the personal, the collective, and the Spiritual. It is itself a catalog of one woman's journey to becoming - with the understanding that to become is to simply remember.

Sara Haile-Mariam is an Artist and a Medicine Woman of her Ancestral lineage. A writer, poet, oracle, energy worker and the front-woman and drummer of Makeda!, a band on a mission to reclaim rock and roll - her artistry is a catalyzing force of remembrance. Her work effortlessly dances between the realms of Spirit and the human experience with the intention of holding the totality of both. Sara (pronounced Sah-ra) is unapologetically rooted in her own multi-dimensionality and expresses with the intention of co-creating Love on Earth.
